Ponte Sant' Angelo at Twilight

The castle was built as a mausoleum for Emperor Hadrian and serves as a museum today. The Ponte Sant’ Angelo, crossing the River Tiber, is decorated with Baroque-era angel statues designed by the famous and prolific Bernini.
