We accompanied our 80-year old relative to visit her most favorite place: Las Vegas. She said “I feel very happy and energetic when I get to Vegas; I like the way the hotels and casinos treat their guests, free comp. stays, and the slot machines.” When asked why she would want to lose her hard-earned retirement income, she replied: “I rather think of it as paying rental fees to use the casino’s facilities.”
