The village of Wadi Musa ("Valley of Moses") overlooks the entrance to Petra, Jordan. According to local tradition, the spring at Wadi Musa is where the prophet Moses struck the rock and brought out water. Today, the village hosts many hotels, restaurants and shops, catering to the needs of visitors to Petra.
