Painted Hall

Painted Hall

A wide angle capture inside the Painted Hall, Greenwich, England. The Painted Hall at Old Royal Naval College was designed by Sir Christopher Wren and Nicholas Hawksmoor in early 18th century. The hall was originally intended as a dining space for naval veterans. Its ceiling has the largest figurative painting in England with tribute to King William and Queen Mary, and the importance of navy to the nation. Admission is free, and well worth a visit.
