A great white egret caught a fish and flicked it towards its mouth before swallowing it whole. I captured this frame with the fish in mid-air between the egret’s bill. The prolonged heat and drought has caused some tree leaves to turn colors, resulting in colorful reflections on our neighborhood lake’s surface during early morning Aug 4, 2022. I like this blend of wildlife action with landscape photography.
