The steep train journey between Flam and Myrdal includes a 5-minute stop where passengers can disembark to view the Kjosfossen waterfalls. A "Huldra" (female forest creature from local folklore) performs in front of the waterfall as the train makes its stopover; providing some color and scale to the large waterfall.
