My wife and I visited the Imperial Furniture Collection in Vienna. This is one of the lesser known and unusual museums with very few tourists. The museum houses furniture of the Habsburgs imperial family over five centuries. I took this whimsical image of a Thonet’s chair and its shadows. Thonet popularized light, strong wood bent into graceful shapes.
