A couple sitting on Whitehorse Hill – site of stylized prehistoric Uffington White Horse, Oxfordshire, England. You can see the crushed white chalk filling the trenches that form the outlines of parts of the elongated horse shape, and the rural farming areas neatly delineated by trees or hedges. The entire horse is best viewed aerially or from further away. We had a lot of fun and exercise walking up to this 3,000 year-old historic site, owned and managed by the National Trust.
