Tolerance

A 10-foot high human figure Tolerance sculpture looking towards downtown Houston; it is made of nine aluminum alphabet patterns by the Spanish artist Jaume Plensa. There is a total of seven sculptures representing the seven continents. Part of the sculptures' inscription reads: Unity in diversity, reflecting the pluralism & harmony of mankind. Installed in 2011, the sculptures provide inspiration to live together in harmony; its message is very relevant today.
