Visitors to the Vatican Museum exit by walking down these large and richly decorated double spiral staircases, designed by Giuseppe Momo in 1932. The Vatican spiral staircases are highly photographed, mainly from the top of the stairs. I wanted to capture a less familiar 180-degree view from the base of these monumental stairs using a manual fisheye lens.
