Ostia Antica was ancient Rome’s seaport. It’s a relatively short commute (30 minutes) by pubic train from the Colosseum station. The ruins are relatively well preserved; some compare them to Pompeii. Shown here are shadows of schoolchildren looking down on fine mosaics at the Baths of Neptune.
