Most images of the beautiful and monumental double spiral staircases inside the Vatican Museum are taken from the top. I took this side view using a manual fisheye lens shortly before the museum closed. I recently reprocessed the RAW file to black and white to emphasize the "orange-peel" spiral shape and rich decorative textures on the railings.
