Our mini-bus broke down on the return leg from Abu Simbel to Aswan, Egypt in late afternoon sun. Our local driver also know how to make minor repairs; however, the proper tools were missing. After some 30 minutes, this truck stopped to offer assistance, and with the right equipment, the broken fan belt was replaced by our driver and we were soon on the way back towards Aswan.
